Welcome and thank you for taking the time to stop by to read about my services at this very difficult time in your life. If you’re looking to plan a loved ones funeral, whether religious or non-religious, you have come to the right place.
A funeral, is that one last moment of closeness with our loved one, which allows us to say our final farewell and to truly acknowledge the magnitude of the loss.
The Funeral Ceremony will be officiated by myself and is a celebration of the life of your loved one. It will be a dignified, personal farewell; unique and created to mark the life of the person who has died and the relationships they forged. A sincere and personal reflection of the life of a loved one.
Celebration of Life
My role is to navigate us through the Celebration of Life, introducing other family members and friends who are paying tribute.
A Celebration of Life can be religious or non-religious. Every ceremony is individually scripted by myself, including the preparation of an Order of Service, if one is required, but the content is entirely up to you. It can include a tribute, a reading, music, a poem or a symbolic moment like the laying of a rose on the casket by family members and close friends, remembering of course that it’s all about your choices on the day. You can plant a tree, light candles, sing songs, have a time of complete silence, a photo tribute or even raise a glass in honour of your loved one.
The Funeral Ceremonies take place at a either a crematorium, a cemetery or a natural burial site within woodland amongst nature.
You can also discuss with me the Scattering of Ashes ceremony and the options of scattering them, this can be done at a later date as and when you are ready.
I am an ordained member of the clergy as well a Minister of Faith.
If your loved one’s faith was important to them, you may want a religious service. If they were not a church goer or worshipper they may still have wanted their funeral to be led by a Minister of Faith, I will work with whatever you require.
I am also able and willing to support you pastorally through your difficult journey of bereavement.
